Laser Eye Surgery Cost
The current price for Laser Eye Surgery is $3,450 per eye. This includes all follow-up appointments for 12 months and any enhancement procedures if required.
Laser Blended Vision Cost
The price for Laser Blended Vision is the same as for Laser Eye Surgery at $3,450 per eye. This includes surgery and all follow-up care for up to 12 months. Some people may only need one eye treated.
Cataract Surgery cost
The current price for Cataract Surgery in Wellington is between $4,790-$5,730 per eye depending on your choice of Intraocular lens and hospital. This fee is made up of a combination of Hospital fee, Surgeon fee, Anaesthetic fee and Intraocular lens fee.
Other eye treatment costs

How much does it cost for an appointment at Bowen Eye Clinic?
A first visit consultation fee is $210. All follow-up consultations are $110. Additional charges may apply if scans are required.
Can I claim any procedures through my medical insurance policy?
All specialist treatments are covered by most medical insurance policies. Unfortunately no insurance company in New Zealand covers Laser Eye Surgery. Before proceeding with a treatment it is recommended that you check with your medical insurance company.

Yes. We can treat all ACC patients with no surcharge.
